Somewhere along the way you you got lost. Let's find you again.

You're still in there. The problem is you are running on empty.

Helping you feel like yourself again. One simple step at a time. If you're waking up exhausted before the day has even started, getting through the afternoon on caffeine and willpower, lying awake at 3 am with your mind racing - and wondering when you last felt genuinely well - you are not alone.

Your joints ache, and you've started telling yourself that's just getting older. Your sleep is broken. Your digestion is unpredictable. The weight around your middle won't shift no matter what you try. Your brain feels foggy, your energy crashes at the worst moments and cooking a healthy meal at the end of a long day feels like one thing too many.

You've tried to fix it. The diets that lasted three weeks. The supplements gathering dust in the cupboard. The early nights that didn't help. You've googled everything, and you're more confused than when you started.

And somewhere along the way - between the career, the family and putting everyone else first - you quietly resigned yourself to it. Telling yourself this is just what getting older feels like.

I disagree. And I'm living proof. I've been there. At 24 I was bedridden with ME - too exhausted to eat the dinner my husband made me. I had gestational diabetes with my first pregnancy and went on to have four babies over 9lbs — a significant risk factor for Type 2 diabetes. Every sign pointed towards a difficult midlife.

And I refused to accept it. By my late 20s I had reclaimed my energy - and I've kept it ever since. Today I'm 56, I walk in the Lake District most days, and I genuinely love my life.

Not because I overhauled everything overnight - but because I took one step at a time. For thirty years. That's exactly why I created One Step a Week™.

I don't believe in restrictive diets, complicated protocols or plans that collapse the moment real life gets in the way.

As a BANT registered nutritional therapist and HeartMath coach, I'll help you improve your energy, sleep better, support your digestion and hormones, manage your weight naturally and build healthy habits that actually fit your life. We'll create a personalised plan that feels manageable, sustainable and - crucially - enjoyable. Because this isn't about becoming a different person. It's about finding your way back to the one you already are.

As Laura, one of my clients, put it - "You will make huge changes, often without even noticing. It's the best gift I gave myself in a long time." And as Claire discovered - "Little steps are fine. And they really do work."

Small steps don't just change your health. They change your confidence. Your energy. Your sleep. Your joints. Your mood. Your future. And sometimes - just like they did for me - your whole life.

One step a week. That's all it takes to feel like you again.

Does this sound familiar?

You know what you should be doing, but can’t stay consistent.

You feel tired, flat, or not quite yourself.

You start with good intentions… then life gets busy.

You’ve tried diets or plans before, but nothing sticks long-term.

You want to feel healthier, but not overwhelmed.

If that’s you - you’re in the right place.

You don’t need another diet.
You need a way to make healthy habits fit into your real life so that this time they stick.

It's not a knowledge problem.

I know you already know the basics of healthy eating.

The challenge isn’t knowing what to do -
it’s the actually doing it in real life, when you’re busy, tired, and juggling everything else.

That’s where most health plans fall down.

Instead of changing everything at once, we focus on one small, achievable step each week.

No overwhelm. No perfection. No starting again on Monday.

Just steady, realistic progress that builds into lasting change.

And it’s where I work differently.

Download my free eBook now to get you started.

Because real change doesn't come from doing everything at once.

It comes from taking one step. One new habit. Every week.

Over time those small steps build on each other - until suddenly you have all-day energy, better sleep, a body that feels good and a life that feels like yours again.

My free eBook will help you choose your first step - and to make it part of your week until it's a healthy habit which feels automatic, not forced.

Just a natural part of who you are.

hello.

Hi, I’m Amanda Sarjant.

I’m passionate about helping people feel good in their everyday lives - not through perfection, but through simple, realistic choices that actually fit real life.

I love being outdoors, moving my body, and enjoying where I live, and that’s what inspires my own approach to health.

I’m far from perfect, and I don’t always do everything I know I “should,” but I aim for balance rather than extremes.

For me, it’s about the 80/20 approach - focusing on what makes the biggest difference most of the time, without pressure to get everything right.

I understand what it’s like to feel like you’re juggling everything - work, family, life admin, health goals, and trying to squeeze in time for yourself on top of it all. It can feel like too much.

And when it feels like too much, healthy habits are usually the first thing to go.

why work with me?

I help people who feel like they’ve lost their way with their health to reconnect with their energy, confidence, and sense of self.

We create a realistic nutrition and lifestyle approach that works for your life, not an ideal version of it.

We start where you are now, remove overwhelm, and focus on small, manageable changes that actually stick.

Because most people already know what they should be doing - the challenge is making it work not just in real life, but in your life.

That’s where my One Step a Week® approach comes in.

Instead of changing everything at once, we focus on one meaningful step at a time - building confidence, consistency, and long-term change.

“I definitely have a new pathway to go down, which I know is a much healthier one, I am really looking forward to new ways of eating and thinking."

– Claire L –

“Before I met and spoke to you, my energy levels were not very good but I had almost resigned myself to accepting that this was life after menopause.”

– Berniece S –

“I would definitely recommend working with Amanda, she knows her stuff for sure. She not only advises but she coaches and encourages along the way. If you are struggling with weight loss, fatigue, or memory difficulties Amanda can help. I guarantee your life will be enriched and a whole lot better.”

– Angie P –

“It was a very easy process. We set out a life plan with various goals. I felt happy with the progress I made each week. I felt the goals were achievable. I was given plenty of guidance and reassurance when my motivation and commitment were low.”

– Susan L –

“I’m most happy with my mindset. I’ve realised that I’ve made some positive and powerful steps towards health. My focus is good and I feel capable of taking charge of my health. I know I can lose weight and I know how to take care of myself. I know what makes my body feel good.”
